An old pond with new fish
Chaloner Pond was restored in 2001 having been in existence for many years, it is over an acre in size, with a maximum depth of around 2.5 metres. The pond is attractively landscaped and the area is also ideal for seeing wildlife, especially birds!
The pond contains five main species of fish: Perch, Roach, Tench, Carp and Crucian Carp with 50Ib hauls possible.
Fishing is by day ticket, at £5.00 per day, or in the summer months £3.00 after 5pm.
