Wildlife conservation
Grange House has a wide variety of wildlife especially birds within a landscape of wooded areas, ponds and hedgerows.
The use of spring sown crops after over wintered stubble encourages ground nesting birds such as Lapwings and Skylarks.
Other birds seen on the farm include: Heron, Kingfisher, Coot, Mallard, Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Little Owl, Sparrowhawk, Treecreeper, Swifts, Swallows and House Martins.
The Defra funded ELS scheme is used to encourage wildlife on the farm.
